Alright… catch up time! Here’s my first Ipsy bag so I’m excited to see what the next one will be like.

So each “box” comes in clutches that you can use on an everyday basis. I haven’t used mine yet but I would totally! I needed a little purse/bag to carry about my stuff on a quick outing or when I don’t want to be hauling around a (big) purse. This one is a big fuzzy/furry ones to go with the holiday.

Here’s what I got inside. (Also just to note, Ipsy bags are custom packaged so depending on what you set your profile and likes to be, you’ll most likely not get all the same things as me.)

HIKARI COSMETICS FELT TIP LIQUID EYEILNER IN IRIS
This liquid liner is a deep purple which I wasn’t too happy to receive since I have somewhat darker skin and I feel like it doesn’t how up on me well. I LOVE colors but they need to be a certain shade or have some shimmer to it to really show up well for me.

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP PRISMATIC SHADOW IN FIREBALL 
I received the Prismatic eyeshadow in Fireball which is kind of a Reddish Rose color, close to a tan bronze color. I think this color was a little too close to my skin tone to make it really pop and be noticeable but I could use in that kind of way to match my skin rather than some bold color like blue. I’ve never tried NYX’s eyeshadow so this is really cool. I have tried several of their lipstick products which I like.

CIATE LONDON LIQUID VELVET MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK IN PIN UP
So I’ve always been all about the color. Bold bright colors. However, lately I’ve been interested in more natural, subdued colors, especially for lips. This may be the answer I was looking for! It’s a darker pink but might just look natural for me.

JERSEY SHORE COSMETICS PEPPERMINT MOISTURE RICH HYDRATING BALM
Alright… now here is something I’m actually quite happy about. I’m always looking for a really good lip moisturizer that’s not going to leave my lips cracked and peeling (I know, gross). I just tried this on and it goes on smooth which I was a little worried about with the beeswax in it. (Most beeswax based lip moisturizers tend to be hard when putting on my lips.) I also love mintyness in my lip products so that was a bonus. So far it feels real good! We’ll see how it goes from here.

TARTE COSMETICS MARACUJA OIL
Oh my god. I was SOOOOOOOO happy to receive this in my bag!!! I’ve tried this Maracuja Oil and I LOVE it. It feels good to put on. I usually mix a drop in with my foundation to keep non-drying for my skin. You should definitely pick this up if you can!
